Blanche - Copenhagen Fashion Week
I have been very excited for Blanche's AW18 debut show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. I have followed their journey for the past year, or since the two fashion natives Mette Fredin and Melissa Bech launched the label in August 2017. Taking on a timeless approach, the label is builded up around denim, working with the material in a playful way, using leftovers from earlier seasons to create askew and unique details. They are very eco conscious, producing everything locally in Copenhagen using Global Organic Textile Standard–approved fabric and deadstock fabric.
I love the fact that Blanche AW18 collection was so wearable and came with a diverse looks, mixing fabric and patterns together. The camel long leg suit was my personal favorite as well as the denim sets and the plaid coat.
The brand will be available in Húrra Reykjavík at the end of February.
